How to Hide Your Online Status on Facebook Chat from Select Contacts

If you are connected with too many people on Facebook and need to hide your online status on Facebook Chat from certain contacts, here’s some help.

For the chat when you put a person in a category, they show up on the chat in the category you put them in. You can make a different category and put him in it and just use that slider/toggle thing to sign him off chat, you know those little slider things on the chat, it works.

1.Go into edit friends, same place you use to log out.

2.Find his name in the friends part, you will see add to category and click on it, you can make a new one to put him in.

3.When you made a new category, by creating a name for it, put him in it by clicking the category part and click on the other category to unmark it.

4.After you have him in category you put him in… use slider/toggle turn off the category you put him in… it will keep him out of chat and he cannot chat you after.
