It is important to realize you need quality articles for your article marketing drive when you’re done with your keyword research and selection of article marketing directories. The definition of quality articles consists of two important attributes:

Article marketing content should be appealing, informative and easy-to-read for the human visitors
Article marketing content should be written in conformity with Google guidelines

Let’s take a closer look at what constitute Google-friendly article marketing content:

Conforming Google’s Keyword Policy

Keywords are the soul of Article Marketing content; you just can’t afford to ignore their importance and still expect your article marketing drive to produce results at par with your competitors. You can make your article marketing more Google-friendly by knowing exactly where to use your targeted keywords. While writing the content of article marketing the article marketing experts normally adopt a set of standardized rules.

Here are some rules to be kept in mind while developing your article marketing content:

Title of the Article Marketing Content: Use the primary keyword in your title and more importantly, use it as close to the beginning of the title as possible. All search engines including Google prioritize article marketing content based on their adherence to the keyword usage practices. Thus, articles that are more keyword-compliant tend to be valued more importantly by Google crawlers.

Keyword Structure in Article Marketing Content: As per the standard keyword practices, article marketing content experts prefer to keep the keyword phrases as one entity both in the Title as well as in the body of the article marketing content. So it is always important not to split up the keyword phrases into different words by inserting other ‘stop words’ among them. For instance, if your main keyword phrase happens to be ‘SEO Companies India’, try not to write the phrase as ‘SEO Companies in India’. A stop word usually dilutes the keyword density and devalues the SEO quality of your article marketing content.

Keyword in the Article Description: If you have a description for article marketing content, ensure that you include your main keyword as close to the beginning of the description as possible. However, make sure the description still remains appealing to the human visitors.

Keywords in the Body of Article Marketing Content: Apart from optimizing the Title and Description of your article marketing content, make sure to use the same keywords in the body content as well. To begin with, the most important places where your main keywords or keyword phrases should be present in the body content is the very first sentence and very last sentence of the body content. It is always not easy to follow this practice while writing article marketing contents, but you can come up with some creative ideas to use your keywords as per the rules without compromising on the quality of your body content. Moreover, the keywords should be used evenly throughout the body of the article marketing content which will ensure that Google’s crawler finds your content keyword-compliant. However, do NOT try to stuff keywords into your body content. Your articles will be rejected by the Article Directories as well. Worse, there is a great deal of chances of your articles being caught and punished by Google as well.

Usage of Keyword Semantics: While using the main keywords or keyword phrases at the prescribed places within your article marketing content is considered Google friendly, using their semantics makes your content even more meaningful. Always try to use the derivatives of your keywords along with their suffixes and prefixes along with other grammatical forms. The keyword semantics help your article marketing content sound more natural and deepen the keyword density of your content to make them more Google-friendly.

Finally, you must always remember that you’re writing content for human visitors as well. Conforming to the Google’s keyword policy might get your article marketing content a great deal of search engine visibility; however, unless the content appeals to your target visitors or fails to address their queries, you might end up putting them off. Therefore, it is extremely essential develop your article marketing content for both Google and human visitors alike.

#1 Content
As cliche as it sounds this is the number one for any search marketing strategy, it is impossibly important to ensure that you have content worth viewing. Without this one simply step to ensure that there is a reason for someone to be on your site, everything else is useless. There are a lot of great sites to find inspiration for writing great content that works.

#2 Incoming Links
A link is a link is a link, but without the simplest form you aren’t going to do well in search engines. The more links you have the more often you are going to be crawled. It is also important to make sure that you have the proper anchor text for your incoming links. The easiest way to gain quality links from other sites is to link to sites to let them know your site is there and hope for a reciprocal link. It is also important to make sure that you have content that is worth linking to on your site.

#3 Web site title
Making sure that you have the right web site titles for your pages is extremely important. The keywords you place in your title are important in order to ensure that your topic is understood by Google. One of the primary factors for ranking is if the title is on-topic with the search results. Not only is it important for robots to index and understand the topic of the page either. It is important for click-through rates in the search results. Pay attention to what you click on when you are searching in Google, I know that I don’t always click the first results. Using great titles and topics on your site will bring you more traffic than a number one listing. Most of the time it is within the first page, but I skim through the titles to see which looks to be more on-topic for my search query.

#4 Heading tags
When you are laying out your site’s content you have to be sure that you are creating the content flow in such a way that the heading tags are based on prominence. The most prominent of course being the h1 tag, which says this is what this block of copy is about. Making sure you understand heading tag structure is very important. You only want to have one (or two) h1 tags per a page. It is important to not just throw anything into an h1 tag and hope you rank for it.

#5 Internal Linking
Making sure that your internal linking helps robots (and visitors!) to find the content on your site is huge. Using relevant copy throughout your site will tell the robots (and visitors!) more effectively what to expect on the corresponding page. You do want to make sure that on pages you don’t want to rank in Google that you add a nofollow tag to ensure that the ranking flow of your site corresponds with your site’s topic and interests. No one is going to be searching Google to find out what your terms of service or privacy policy are.

#6 Keyword Density
Ensuring that you have the right keyword density for your page and sites topic is paramount. You don’t want to go overboard and use the keyword every 5th word but making sure it comes up often is going to help you rank better in search engines. The unspoken rule is no more then 5% of the total copy per a page. Anymore then this and it can start to look a little spammy. Granted, you aren’t shooting for 5% every time. It is really all about context and relevance just make sure it is good, quality copy.

#7 Sitemaps
It is always a good idea to give search engines a helping hand to find the content that is on your site. Making sure that you create and maintain a sitemap for all of the pages on your site will help the search robots to find all of the pages in your site and index them. Google, Yahoo, MSN and Ask all support sitemaps and most of them offer a great way to ensure that it is finding your sitemap. Most of the time you can simply name it sitemap.xml and the search robot will find the file effectively.

#8 Meta Tags
Everyone will tell you that meta tags don’t matter, they do. The biggest thing they matter for is click-through though. There will be a lot of times when Google will use your meta description as the copy that gets pulled with your search listing. This can help to attract the visitor to visit your web site if it is related to their search query. Definitely a much overlooked (as of late) ranking factor. Getting indexed by search engines and ranking well is just the first step. The next, and biggest, step is getting that visitor that searched for your keywords to want to click on your search listing.

#9 URL Structure
Ensuring that your URL structure compliments the content that is on the corresponding page is pretty important. There are various methods to make this work, such as modrewrite on apache.

#10 Domain
It can help to have keywords you are interested in ranking for within your domain, but only as much as the title, heading and content matters. One very important factor that is coming to light is that domain age is important. The older the site or domain, the better it is not spam and can do well in search results. The domain age definitely isn’t a make or break factor but it does help quite a bit.

source: http://www.searchenginejournal.com/9-sure-fire-seo-tips/25503/

1) Steal Your Competitors’ Keywords

Look at the keywords they use in their title tags.

Look at the keywords they use to link to their “money pages”.

Some webmasters are dumb enough to include their money keywords in their meta keywords tags. Take a look at these but keep in mind that smart SEO people won’t do this. In fact, just to mess with wannabe SEO’s they might actually put bad keywords in the meta keywords tags to get others to use them.

If stealing keywords sounds shady, its only because I used the word “steal” instead of “learn” to grab your attention. You should always learn about your competitors; you can bet that they’ll try to steal..err learn your keywords too.

2) Fix Canonical URL Issues

If you can access your site by typing “site.com” and “www.site.com”, Google will see that as two different sites with the exact same content and that can hurt you a lot. To fix this create a file called .htaccess with these three lines and put it in the root folder of your site:

RewriteEngine On

RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} !^www\.site\.com$

RewriteRule (.*) http://www.site.com/$1 [R=301,L]

WARNING: unless you know what you’re doing, have someone else do this. All servers are configured differently and you don’t want to screw-up your .htaccess file.

3) Pay Attention to Your MozRank

SEOmoz has a tool called LinkScape that calculates your MozRank. MozRank is a great metric that evaluates the QUALITY of your incoming links. (Most link assessment tools only focus on quantity). If you have more links than your competitors but they’re ranking above you, you should compare your MozRank to theirs; maybe your competitor has fewer links but they are BETTER than yours.

If your MozRank is higher, you have more links than them, and they still rank above you, then you probably have an issue with the lack of keywords in the anchor texts of your incoming links.

4) Get a Double Listing

A double listing (or indented listing) can sky-rocket your click-through-rate (CTR)! How you can get a double listing?

You need two pages of your site on the same page of Google results. For example, let’s say you have a page A and page B. Page A ranks #4 on Google for “plant seeds” and Page B ranks #15 for the same keyword.

You need to take page B from position 15 (second page of Google) to position 10 (first page of Google) so pages A and B are on the first page of Google.

Perform this Google search to find out what 2 pages Google finds most relevant to a given keyword: site:yoursite.com [keyword].

Now that you know what 2 pages are the most relevant for that keyword, use the SEO Rank Checker Tool to find out the Google rankings for those pages.

Optimize pages A and B for your keyword. Link to page B from page A and vice versa using the keyword you want to rank for in the anchor text of the links.

Get some keyword-rich links from external sites to pages A and B.

Presto! Your listing will look like this one:

5) Use Google Webmaster Tools

You really have no excuse not to use this amazing tool. These are some of the things your can do with it:

Submit a sitemap of your site so Google knows what pages they should index.

Tell Google what is the canonical URL you want to use (site.com or www.site.com).

Detect issues with duplicate title tags and meta descriptions.

See a list of URLs restricted by robots.txt.

Detect crawlability issues.

Find 404 error pages.

See the most common keywords people find your site through.

Get a list of links pointing to your site.

Tell Google how they should index your images.

6) Create a Google Sitemap

Now that you’re using Google Webmaster, create a sitemap using this tool: GSiteCrawler.

7) Use Google to Get Keyword Suggestions

Start typing your main keyword in the Google search box and get ideas for keywords. For a more detailed keyword research use the Google Keyword Tool.

Learn the 4 Truths about the QUALITY of Links

Links from authority sites (e.g. CNN) are worth more than links from average sites (e.g. your nephews’ videogame blog).

Links from related sites are worth more than links from unrelated sites.

Links with your keyword in the anchor text are worth more that links that say “click here” or “read more”.

Link QUALITY is way more important than link QUANTITY.

9) What To Do If You Ever Get Penalized By Google

First off, avoid spammy black-hat tactics so this never happens. But, if you’ve been a bad boy/girl, this is what you should do:

Find out why it happened. Read Google Webmaster Guidelines and find out what you’ve done wrong.

Fix it.

Ask Google to reconsider your site. Admit to everything and don’t pretend you didn’t know what you were doing. Promise that you won’t do it again.

Don’t do it again!

- pacquiao vs cotto
- cotto v.s. pacquiao 24/7
- pacquiao vs cotto 24/7 video
- 24/7 pacquiao cotto
- pacquiao cotto fight
- pacquiao cotto tickets
- pacquiao beats cotto
- cotto beats pacquiao

alot of people would be searching for this fight’s (manny pacquiao and miguel cotto) live streaming. and at the same time people would be searching for the bout’s results as to whether pacquiao or cotto wins or loses.

why am I stating this? monetization of course! you should anticipate whatever something big is bound to happen then come up of ways to make money from it. what better ways to monetize from this upcoming event?

1. post an advanced article to your blog using the most searched keywords above and then make sure your adsense ads are properly placed. then apply traffic generating techniques (can be found here in travsoutput)

2. already in CPA arena? then you can fire up some surveys such as “who will win between manny pacquiao and miguel cotto? vote now and get a chance to win a laptop” you get the drift.

3. you can also signup to an affiliate program selling tickets

4. or maybe you can get secret live streaming site somewhere and post it right at your site…then cover it up with a gateway such as CPAlead.

Now get knocked-out with earnings!

Basically, a linkwheel is a set of SIX Web 2.0 properties interlinked in a “wheel” structure, all promoting a page on the web which is the focus of that particular “wheel”.

Let me explain, or well, let this image show you.

Basically, you have six properties up, and each contains a link to the “focus hub” AND its ‘neighbor’ as you can see in the image above, the arrows representing links.

Your “focus hub” could be ANY page you wish to promote. For example a page on your website, or another Web 2.0 property.

To expand, you could build a linkwheel like this around a page, and then build a new linkwheel around each of the properties that are in that linkwheel.

For example, in the above image, you would continue building another linkwheel having Weebly and Squidoo etc AS the Focus Hub.

Make sense?
You could take this idea and apply it to so many different things I’m not even going to bother with covering more scenarios. Use your imagination

Use of the Linkwheel strategy can bring some serious Google domination implications. For keywords with lower competition you could easily take over the front page of Google. Add social bookmarking and RSS-pinging in the mix helps quick indexing by Google and a whole bunch of backlinks to your properties… which in turn gives you good rankings.

So you decided to blog. You probably heard about people becoming their own boss just by blogging alone. And so you purchased your own domain and hosting. Then you installed WordPress in it, tweaked the theme a bit and made posts. Then after a day or two, you begin to whine why your blog is not yet indexed in Google.

First of all, you won’t get indexed that fast! Gone were the days that you’ll just sit back and wait until you get indexed. Get up your ass and let the whole blogosphere know that your blog exists! You need to learn SEO even just the basics. You don’t just blog. Make it your passion. Treat your blog like a baby. Possess the marketer’s mindset. Here are my basic WordPress blog optimization tips for you:

Change your permalinks structure into /%postname%/ Log in to your admin panel then go to Settings>Permalinks. Avoid using ?p=123 When you use /%postname%/ your post links would adjust according to the title of your posts. Spiders would then enjoy crawling it.

Don’t forget the Tags before you post an article. When you put something in your tags, those words go straight to Technorati then it acknowledges them…thus helps in indexing. Dark tip: if you’re lazy in typing what tags is suitable for your post, then you should download the WP plugin called autometa. It will scan your entire post then it will take care of your tags for you.

Increase the ping sites in your update services. Go to your admin panel then Settings>Writing then scroll down and you’ll see Update Services. For your convenience, copy my personal list:

Each time you post new article, your blog will ping all those sites above…telling them you got a new article. Helps in indexing.

Don’t forget the power of social bookmarking such as Stumbleupon, Digg and Reddit. Each time you have a new post in your blog, put them up also to the social bookmarking sites.

And lastly, don’t forget to do link exchanges of course! Much better if you do link exchanging with the big boys. Find out what’s the PR of their sites. If you don’t know what PR is, here’s a link for you http://lmgtfy.com/?q=page+rank

Update: Damn I almost forgot…do mass-commenting on different blogs. Much better if these blogs you comment on have good PR and supports do-follow. I recommend using Comment Kahuna to make this task easier.

Well, those are just the basics. The tips could go on and on. Ideas are endless as long as you have the marketer’s mindset. You can also mingle on forums related to your niche and smack the URL of your blog right on your forum signature (using proper anchor texts for good indexing). The rest is all up to you. I have shown you the door…you have to walk through it.
